DH-100 Broadband Digital Hydrophone
10 Hz to 100 kHz (Optional 120 kHz)

Full-Spectrum Subsea Acoustic Sensing: From Low-Frequency Ambient Noise to High-Frequency Marine Life Monitoring in One 32-Bit System.

The DH-100 Broadband Digital Hydrophone is a versatile, all-in-one underwater acoustic sensing solution engineered to eliminate frequency-range trade-offs in subsea monitoring. Delivering an ultra-wide acoustic bandwidth of 10 Hz to 100 kHz (expandable up to 120 kHz), the DH-100 bridges the gap between low-frequency ambient noise profiling and high-frequency marine bioacoustic tracking in a single, compact device.

By integrating a low-noise broadband hydrophone element, an adjustable preamplifier, a high-dynamic 32-bit ADC, and Fast Ethernet connectivity into a robust, corrosion-resistant POM/Nylon housing, the DH-100 removes the complexity of external digitizers and analog noise interference. Equipped with sub-microsecond IEEE 1588 (PTP) time synchronization and up to 2TB of local MicroSD storage, it empowers researchers and subsea engineers to switch seamlessly between real-time network streaming and autonomous long-term deployment.

Key Features

  • 10 Hz – 120 kHz Broadband Coverage Captures the full acoustic spectrum—from low-frequency ambient ocean noise to high-frequency marine mammal bioacoustics—in a single device.
  • 32-Bit High-Dynamic Precision Integrates a 32-bit ADC with 0–50 dB adjustable software gain, delivering superior dynamic range to detect faint sounds without clipping loud industrial noise.
  • Microsecond-Level IEEE 1588 (PTP) Sync Supports IEEE 1588 and NTP protocols for precise time-stamping, ideal for multi-hydrophone array positioning (TDOA) and sound source tracking.
  • Dual Ethernet & 2TB Edge Storage Features independent 100Mbps Ethernet streaming and control ports, plus an onboard MicroSD slot supporting up to 2TB for fully autonomous deployment.
  • Ultra-Low Power & Autonomous Ready Consumes just 2.1W at 12VDC with auto-acquisition on power-up and voltage monitoring, perfectly optimized for AUV, ROV, and long-term buoy missions.
