The H-ADCP-600K Horizontal Current Profiler is a newly launched online velocity and flow monitoring instrument. It calculates water flow velocity based on the acoustic Doppler principle, featuring compact footprint, lightweight design, superior flow measurement accuracy and long effective profiling range.

Available for shore-based or floating-platform mounting per project requirements, the unit is widely deployed in harbors, waterways, rivers, lakes and bridge pier zones. It performs real-time horizontal velocity profile monitoring and delivers high-precision, high-resolution datasets including profile flow velocity and discharge. Measured data is transmitted to designated platforms via radio transceiver or IP network to enable remote real-time monitoring of hydrological parameters.

The instrument supplies credible, high-quality raw data for flood early warning systems, water diversion projects, aquatic environmental monitoring, smart agriculture and smart water management initiatives.

  • Ultra-Long 300m Profiling Range: Capitalizing on the low attenuation of the 150kHz frequency combined with phased-array beamforming gain, the system achieves a single-sided horizontal profile range of up to 300 meters. This allows a single unit to cover entire main shipping lanes and large river cross-sections.
  • Adaptive High-Turbidity Mode: Equipped with proprietary digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, the system automatically optimizes pulse coding and gain controls under high-turbidity conditions. It maintains high data accuracy and maximum range even during heavy sediment resuspension (caused by ship maneuvering or tidal siltation) and peak flood seasons.
  • Compact Phased-Array Design: By replacing traditional multi-transducer hardware with a single flat-panel phased-array array, the device is remarkably lightweight and compact. This significantly simplifies deployment and lowers maintenance costs on quay walls, dolphins, breakwaters, or buoys.
