Forward-looking sonars are typically mounted at the front of underwater vehicles to provide a clear view of the surrounding environment and enable target detection. They operate similarly to optical cameras, capturing comprehensive scene information in a single scan. Their advantages include compact sizereal-time performance, and minimal requirements for the host vehicle.

This series of sonars is ideal for various small unmanned vehicles, including UUVsROVsUSVs, as well as small surface vessels, providing users with clear acoustic vision in both clear and turbid waters. The MiniUAC-1203 is the most well-balanced model in the forward-looking sonar series, available in both single-frequency and dual-frequency versions. Its standard operating frequencies cover a range from 375 kHz to 2.1 MHz, with a maximum detection range of up to 200 m.

For users with specialized requirements, the MiniUAC-1203 can be optionally configured with obstacle avoidance, passive bearing (direction-finding) capability, synchronization input/output, and an extended operating depth of up to 1,500 m.

Compared with similar products available domestically and internationally, the MiniUAC1203 offers clear advantages in compact size, low weight, cost efficiency, and long-range detection performance.

The MiniUAC-1216 is a 2D multibeam forward-looking imaging sonar. Its most distinctive feature is an exceptionally competitive price, significantly lower than any other multibeam sonar in the series, delivering outstanding cost-performance value.

In addition to its affordability, the MiniUAC-1216 is maintenance-free, rugged, impact-resistant, and abrasion-tolerant. It is designed for long-term immersion in seawater with strong resistance to corrosion. The sonar is well suited for observing fish schools and underwater obstacles in both the water column and near the seabed, enabling real-time visualization of fish positions, sizes, and movements.

The MiniUAC-1216 operates at selectable frequencies of 700 kHz, 900 kHz, or 1.2 MHz, with a maximum detection range of up to 50 m.
